PATTY MELT
Serving Size: 2
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
2 tablespoons canola or vegetable oil
2 vidalia onions, thinly sliced
Kosher salt
4 slices marbled rye bread
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
4 Quick n’ Eat Angus Beef Patties, cooked according to package directions
8 slices Swiss cheese
- Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium/medium-low heat. Add onions and season with Kosher salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are golden brown and caramelized, about 20-30 minutes.
- Spread a thin layer of mayo on one side of each piece of bread. Place two slices of Swiss cheese on a slice of bread (on the dry side, not the mayo side). Top with two burger patties, a spoonful of caramelized onions, and two more slices of Swiss cheese. Top with a piece of bread, with the mayo on the outside. Cook in a medium nonstick skillet over medium/medium-low heat until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Carefully flip each sandwich over and repeat.
